As a Chamber our mission is to "Enhance the Community by Building Better Businesses." Our Chamber invests in the future of the business community of Coopersville and surrounding areas to ensure that the Coopersville area remains a vibrant, active place to live, work and play.
The Chamber's mission is achieved through the efforts of volunteers and staff working together to provide affordable and effective Advocacy, Education, Information, and Networking programs to our members. We also aggressively align our organization to those that will create additional opportunities for our member businesses.
Stephanie is this year’s 2014 Volunteer of the year! Stephanie has an amazing spirit of giving and caring!
Since 2009, Stephanie has been very active with the Coopersville Rotary. She has been the coordinator of the Interact Club at the Coopersville High School for the past 6 years, Stephaine has a love for children and because of this love she has coordinated collecting Christmas Presents for the Children at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and has obviously been very successful!.
Finally, Stephanie has been a key partner with the United Way’s Rake a Difference event. She has helped to facilitate finding, scheduling and following up with veterans, seniors and people with disabilities, and then using her Inter-Act Students to help with raking their leaves for Rake a Difference of United Way.
Stephaine is the person that says, “What Can I do to Help?” she not only asks but finishes the job and then says, “What else?” I have been privileged to receive her help on a few chamber projects. It is amazing the way she steps up and brings her own group of volunteers with her be it high school students or senior citizens, she rounds them up and gets them involved!
Stephanie is the example that we all look for in doing good for others, Coopersville is fortunate in having her as part of our community! Congratulations Stephanie on being the 2014 Volunteer of the Year!
