Coopersville Area Chamber of Commerce

Coopersville is a great place to

Live, Work & Play!

Coopersville is nestled between the cultural activities of Grand Rapids and the natural beauty of the Grand Haven and Muskegon lakeshore.   This small city has retained the charm and friendliness of small town America while growing to meet the ever-changing needs of her community.

Our small town charm includes a healthy economy ranging from the agricultural to high tech manufacturing facilities and a growing service and retail base.  Our proximity to the growth of the Medical Mile in Grand Rapids offers our community many opportunities ranging from new residents and support businesses.  Additionally, Coopersville has recently been chosen for the location of our first Hollywood film.  Our community is the quintessential small town, perfect for films!

The Coopersville Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to "Enhancing the Community by Building Better Businesses".   We work hand in hand with the Coopersville Downtown Development Authority (DDA), City of Coopersville, and many additional organizations to continue logical and vibrant growth of the community while protecting the integrity of our rich heritage.

The local cultural climate thrives with an outstanding array of programming coordinated through the Coopersville Farm Museum, the Coopersville Area Historical Society Museum & Del Shannon Memorial, Coopersville & Marne Railway and the Coopersville Area Arts Council.  Two annual festivals, Summerfest, featuring the Del Shannon Car Show and the Outhouse 500 have received much regional and even national acclaim.

Outstanding educational programs are available at our Blue Ribbon Award Winning Coopersville Public School system along with several quality parochial schools in the area.  Our community is centrally located near many higher education facilities, Grand Valley State University, Hope College, Calvin College, as well as the new Michigan State University medical program in Grand Rapids to name but a few.  Local community college programs are available in both Muskegon and Grand Rapids.

Our chamber staff and volunteer board members are eager to assist you as you look to Live, Work, or Play here. Please do not hesitate to contact us for additional information.
