The Annual Coopersville Santa Claus Parade

Friday, December 2, 2011

Grand Marshall's - Jim & Lill Budzynski

One of the original night-time parades in Michigan, this annual event begins immediately following the lighting of Lori's Tree at the corner of Eastmanville & Main Streets.

Professional and amateur floats, decorated vehicles and firetrucks compete for prizes as they travel along Main Street in the Historic Downtown District of Coopersville.  Click here to register your entry!

Guests are invited to a free ride on the Coopersville & Marne Railway Shuttle from East Street adjacent to the school campus to the downtown area.  After their return ride they are invited to have free refreshments while the children have a visit with Santa, get their faces painted and more.

Sponsoring an event is just one of the ways the members of the Coopersville Area Chamber of Commerce says “Thank You” to the community for their support.

Direct inquiries to ctimmerman@cityofcoopersville.com or at 616/997.5164 or with Trish at 616/997.5165.

Summerfest is a volunteer-driven celebration that began as a local-only draw and has grown to host an estimated 100,000 visitors on Saturday of this 6-day festival that takes place August 8th - 13th.

The week is filled with over 25 family friendly, affordable or free activities.  Over 400 cars will participate in the Del Shannon Car Cruise on Friday night, followed by music and the My Personal Credit Union 3-D Fireworks, winding up with over 800 cars lining the streets of Historic Downtown Coopersville for the Del Shannon Memorial Car Show on Saturday.

Proceeds from the events throughout the week are utilized by the many non-profits that organize them.  All food selections will be courtesy of local non-profit agencies.

The Coopersville Summerfest logo may only be used with written permission from the Coopersville Area Chamber of Commerce.  Information at 616/997.5164 or here.

Please direct your Summerfest inquiries to 616/997.5164.
