    “Because you love someone with dementia, you may have concerns about safety.” A person with dementia may experience many symptoms and have trouble in many areas such as difficulty with language; orientation to objects, time or place; and trouble doing calculations or familiar tasks. Additionally, they may have poor judgment or change in personality or behavior.
    If someone you know is struggling with or experiencing dementia, this class is to help educate not just the patient but the caregivers and their families.
