    Name: The Santa Train
    Date: November 24, 2018 - December 23, 2018
    Event Description:
The volunteers of The Coopersville & Marne Railway present:  The Santa Train every Saturday and Sunday from November 24 through December 23.  See the train schedule and online ticket purchase on the web site at www.mitrain.net.
The train cars are almost 100 years old and are all decked out for Christmas.  Santa has a special seat in each of the four cars.  Elves will escort each child for their time to sit with The Jolly Fellow.   All kids, even the shy ones, get a special toy from Santa's Big Red Bag! When Santa is in another train car, the Story-Telling Princess will read The Polar Express which was written by Grand Rapids native Chris Van Allsburg.  The round-trip through the snow-covered farms and fields takes about 90 minutes.  Snow or no, we go!
