Powder Puff Tractor Games - Free Event - Coopersville Farm Museum, 375 Main Street

Coopersville Antique Tractor Society will host garden tractor games for ladies and teen girls on Wednesday night. Bring a chair to watch or arrive a little early and sign up to compete! Trophies will be presented to the three participants with the best time completing a variety of tasks on an obstacle course (ie: figure eight, barrel roll, etc.). Garden tractor will be provided.

Teddy Bear Parade Registration

Free Event – City Hall Park on Danforth

Registration begins at 5:50 pm at the City Hall on Danforth Street on the south side of the railroad tracks.  Parade steps off at 6:30 pm.  The parade will leave from the park and march down Main Street and back to the park.   Be creative and make your own instrument to play as we march. 

Bring a NEW 9” to 14” bear to donate to Hug a Bear and have a chance to win a $50 certificate to Build a Bear. (Hug a Bear provides bears to a law enforcement organizations, EMTs, and hospitals to give to children in crisis situations).  Goodie bags for all participants!

 Coopersville Antique Tractor Society invites boys and men to bring their garden tractors to the Coopersville Farm Museum for a little friendly competition.  No fee to enter and trophies will be awarded in two youth categories (age groups will be determined based on ages of competitors) and one for adults.  

Bring a chair to watch or arrive by 4:30pm to sign up to compete!  Skilled Driving Competition will include barrel roll, backing up with a trailer, and various other challenges.

The Sportsman’s Club Entertainment Tent is open from 12:00pm to 1:00am both Friday and Saturday.

It’s that time of year again to catch up with all of your old classmates, socialize with friends and family while enjoying ice cold refreshments. Join us for a variety of activities happening Friday and Saturday; beginning with a Karaoke on Friday night. Saturday, come participant in all of the fun happening at the Entertainment Tent. Whether you join the corn hole tournament, on site registrations begins at 11:00am with the actual tournament starting at 12:00pm. Or enter all of the different raffle drawings. Arts & Crafts Show

Dozens of very talented artists have created wonderful works of art and crafts for your enjoyment.  Be sure to walk all the way through, we are expecting a great turnout! 

Be sure to visit the Miss Coopersville Scholarship Program contestants on hand to help kids paint their own "Art in the Glass".  5" x 7" glass and paint will be available for your budding artists!  Cost is $4.00 for the glass only, $5.00 with frame.  Proceeds will be used to support the scholarship fund and future Chamber projects.

9th Annual Exhibit of “Quilts & Their Stories”

Coopersville Farm Museum, 375 Main Street

Over 130 quilts (old and new) are displayed inside the Coopersville Farm Museum during August and September. The Director’s Choice exhibit includes the Sunbonnet Sue display. An assortment of demonstrations and activities will be available for kids and adults at various times throughout the week.  Kid’s Day is Wednesday and Quilting Circle meets Thursday morning.  In conjunction with Summerfest, the Coopersville Farm Museum is offering special reduced admission.

Jammin' Saturday
Coopersville Farm Museum, 375 Main Street
$2 Adults/Seniors/Children

Family friendly live music, exhibits, crafts, and activities will be found inside the Coopersville Farm Museum throughout the day on Saturday.  Activities include face painting, corn shelling, rope making, bead crafts, macramé, and more!   Various groups will perform inside the air conditioned facility (on CFM’s new stage) at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, & 3:30pm. 

Open Jams begin on each hour (11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm, & 3pm) and last up to 30 minutes each.  Musicians may bring acoustic instruments to play along or perform a song during open jam sessions.  Featuring:  bluegrass, country, old gospel, and folk music. For a schedule of performing artists, please contact the museum.

Coopersville Antique Tractor Society (aka: C.A.T.S.) will hold a silent auction at the Coopersville Farm Museum.  (Outside if weather permits, inside in the event of rain)  Auction closes at 3pm on Saturday.  Proceeds from the silent auction help cover expenses of the annual tractor show.

Sportsman’s Club Entertainment Tent open from 12:00pm to 1:00am both Friday and Saturday.

It’s that time of year again to catch up with all of your old classmates, socialize with friends and family while enjoying ice cold refreshments. Join us for a variety of activities happening Friday and Saturday; beginning with a Karaoke on Friday night. Saturday, come participant in all of the fun happening at the Entertainment Tent. Whether you join the corn hole tournament, on site registrations begins at 11:00am with the actual tournament starting at 12:00pm. Or enter all of the different raffle drawings. Looking for a little excitement bring the kids down for a Hula Hoop contest at 3:00pm, trophy awarded to the winner. Hang around for the night with Live Music and Dancing both nights from 9:00pm – 1:00am.
